Spring has arrived in New England.
Wherever you look crocuses are blooming, daffodils are bobbing their yellow heads, the forsythia bushes are a vibrant yellow and magnolia trees and the plum trees are flowering.
Just returned from a mini vacation to Old Sturbridge Village in Massachusetts with our grandson Marc.
If you live in New England be sure to bring your children/grandchildren to the colonial village.
Just a worthwhile trip back in time to see a Carting Mill, Blacksmith Shop, Shoe Maker, Grist Mill, etc. and to view the houses, churches, and small one room school house.
The entire whole family can be educated and have fun at the same time.
My grandson, Marc, and I entered our local photo contest. This contest has been in existence for 15 years.
Tomorrow is the reception with a band, awards, and food.
There were 50 youth photos and 140 adult photos (both professional and amateur). The photos are amazing!!
I’m sure that we won’t win but what fun to see the photographic work.
Will try to post our photos after tomorrow.
I just received an acceptance of four of my black and white photos which will be printed in Up the River magazine.
It is a print magazine which you will be able to buy.
As soon as the issue is ready I will give a link to it.
Perhaps there will be some of you who may want to submit your work.
