“Dear Nana” book on Amazon

For those of you who are looking for a book for your children or grandchildren don’t forget the “Dear Nana” book on Amazon.com.

Dear Nana is a book that we all can relate to. Women and men will enjoy reading the memoirs of the many talented writers that make up this book. It describes grandmothers, who are referred to, by a variety of names. These various memoirs depict grandmothers from all walks of life who made an impact on their grandchildren. They come in different sizes, shapes, and ethnic backgrounds but the one trait that ties them all together is the deep impression they have made on their grandchildren. These grandmothers have given of themselves and instilled their influence on their grandchildren for future generations.DSC_1084

Alfie Dog Stories

If you’re looking to download children’s stories why not try www.alfiedog.com. They are a great website with wonderful stories for kids. They have published three of mine, once is titled “The Cat in the Castle”. It’s rather like a fairy tale from years back.

Here is an example of the story:

Right after breakfast the King went up to Princess Victoria’s bedroom. He sat down on her bed and asked, “Why my darling daughter don’t you leave your room and play outside in the garden?
“I’m frightened,” said the princess.
“Frightened of what?” asked the King.
“I’m afraid of the mice” she answered.
“Oh those little creatures won’t come into our castle,’ said the King. “You can go into the library and sit by the fire and read.”
“They’re already here in the castle,” she answered. “I saw them last week scouring in and out of the kitchen.”

A Nice Review of My Book “Full Circle”

st pierre full cover july 28Received this write up on Linked from Pamela Tyree Griffin, editor of the Shine Literary Journal.

Pamela, is a wonderful editor and always encourages other writers.

“I’ve written this recommendation of your work to share with other LinkedIn users.

As an editor, I am always looking for work that touches the human spirit and enriches the mind. Pat St. Pierre’s work has both of these qualities.

Her work was accepted several times for publication in “The Shine Journal”. In addition to her poetry, Pat also sent her photographs which spoke to me and many of our readers.

She writes lovely poetry and her photography is as “eloquent” as her writing.

It has always been pleasure to work with Pat.”

You can find my book “Full Circle” for sale on Amazon.com.

The Graveyard

Scattered among somber  tombstones;                                                                             Delicate pink geraniums,                                                                                                   Multi-colored tulips and tiny grape wine violets                                                             Sway to music as the wind controls their rhythm.                                                           How comforting to see flowers                                                                                      Dancing happily on the ground.
