Guess Who Came to Lunch?

DSC_1718   While sitting at the dining room table today and  working on my computer I looked out the window and saw this magnificent specimen.

He strutted around our front lawn like he owned the area and looked at me as if to say “I belong here.”

He is the largest turkey I’ve seen this Spring.

I just received an email from the publisher Alfie Dog Limited that I am the featured author on their website for 2 weeks.

Alfie Dog is a publisher of short stories for both children and adults. These stories can be downloaded on Kindle and other devices for a small sum.

What a Surprise!!!

I just heard via email that a poem of mine that was published last year “November Afternoon” was selected as one of nineteen poems to be included in “Strong Voices – A Year of of Touch by The Journal of Healing a print magazine.

Surprises are great especially when your writing or photo is recognized.

Pelican Photo Won Editor’s Pick Under Animals

Another Photo Makes Editor’s Pick

My photo “Double Flower with Bee” has made the second round of judging in It is under contest and macro photos.

I have yet to win an award from this website but considering the extraordinary and wonderful photos selected, I’m pleased to have made it to the second round.
