Publication of Chapbook

This announces to my family, friends, and acquaintances the publication of  my new poetry collection from Finishing Line Press:    Theater of Life.  The book can be ordered now and will be printed and shipped in August.   The publisher has asked me to announce the publication now because they base the size of the printing on how many prepublication orders they receive.  So, please feel free to e-mail others who might be interested. Thank you, Pat

I believe a poem can encapsulate a novel, or a life, and Pat St. Pierre’s melancholy piece, “Moving Day,” is a perfect example. Those who love how words can explore emotions will treasure St. Pierre’s poems on love and family, war and pain, kindness and courage. – Gary Presley, author of Seven Wheelchairs: A Life beyond Polio.

  1. Congratulations, Pat! I hope you make full use of the postcards FLP prints up, and don’t forget to send out email announcements as well. In all announcements you should also include FLP’s mailing address for orders; people can be very old-fashioned, and some have difficulties placing orders online. For readings, don’t forget your local library! They might be interested in hosting a book launch party with you. And you should put together a press envelope that includes a press release, modeled on the examples FLP usually provides, a letter, and a sampling of poems, with the offer to provide a review copy when the book is published, and you should send this to your local papers’ features editors and book review editors and any other editors that might be interested in your subject matter.

    Good luck!
    Marie
